Join teachers from all over Arizona at this classroom-oriented event. Changes in the conference format this year will allow for:

  • extended 2 hour hands-on sessions,
  • leadership offerings,
  • student showcase,
  • "birds of a feather" luncheon discussions,
  • special presentations by exhibitors, AND
  • traditional sessions targeting classroom practice.

The conference's high-quality presentations focus on alignment of instructional practices with technology support to engage students in academic success, student exhibits of technology uses in the classroom, professional development for teachers and administrators, and exhibitor presentations that display exciting classroom resources and tools for the contemporary classroom.

Registration for the conference is no closed.

When: January 29th, 2011 8:30 AM through 4:00 PM
Cost: $25 for members, $60 for non-members (includes AzTEA membership)

Location: Empire High School, 10701 N. Mary Ann Cleveland Way Tucson, AZ 85747
Directions to Empire: Take I-10 east to Houghton Road. Follow Houghton north to Mary Ann Cleveland Way. The school should be visible to the east.
Hotel Arrangements: A map of hotels in the vicinity is attached below.
Directions to Empire from Hotels:

  • Turn right on east Valencia and travel 2.6 miles
  • Take I-10 East for 8 miles
  • Exit left on south Houghton Road
  • Travel 2 miles and turn right on Mary Cleveland Way
  • Empire High School  10701 E. Mary Ann Cleveland Way
