Empire High
Start at Brichta Elementary 2110 W. Brichta Dr., Tucson
Participants
will visit schools with 1:1 student to laptop computer initiatives.
The morning session will highlight the implementation at Brichta
Elementary (Tucson Unified) and the afternoon visit will focus
on Empire High School (Vail USD). We’ll tour classrooms,
talk with students, teachers, and administrators. View the
one-to-one in action. Technical support personnel will be
available on-site. A continental breakfast and lunch will
be served; bus transportation between sites and back to Brichta
Elementary will be provided. Space is limited to 45 visitors.

Life

Come
participate in an introduction to the virtual world Second
Life. Second Life is the most prominent virtual world available
today. It, and it’s companion world Teen Second Life,
promise interesting potential for Professional Development
and instruction. This workshop will help you establish a Second
Life avatar and explore the educational possibilities of this
new virtual world. In additional to registering for this workshop,
