Any Arizona educator, support personnel, administrator, and community member who have demonstrated exemplary commitment to educational technology is eligible to win this award. The categories include:

- Librarian of the Year
- Technology Coordinator of the Year
- Technology Specialist of the Year
- Technology Support Person of the Year
- Administrator of the Year
- Friends of Educational Technology
