The computer lab has been a fixture of the school campus since computers first came on campus 3 decades ago. At one time labs made sense in terms of the technology and instructional goals. Both of these factors are no longer true, however, and the time is coming when we will consign computer labs to the dustbin of history. Come see a presentation of potential replacements, and talk with teachers who are working to make it happen.
