Google Tools for Schools

This session will focus on free applications from Google that support teaching and learning. It will provide quick overviews of the more familiar tools of Blogger, Gmail, iGoogle, Google Docs, and Picasa. It will also provide a more in-depth look at Google Lookup, GoogleEarth, GoogleMaps, the new capabilities of Google Search. The web site that supports this session (alicechristie.org) will highlight the Four C's of Technology Integration with Google: Create, Communicate, Collaborate, and Contextualize with examples of Google tools that enhance learning in each of these areas.
