Many of today's online tools make it possible for us to connect immediately with friends and family. Put these same tools to work for you professionally! Showcase your center online, provide updates daily for parents through services like Twitter, encourage teacher and parent collaboration online through Facebook. Help younger staff already tuned into these resources find out how to use them as an early childhood professional.

Flack Presenter Biography:
Kimberly Flack, M.A., is the Associate General Manager of Educational Outreach at Eight, Arizona Public Television, and the Executive Director of ASSET (Arizona School Services through Educational Technology). Kimberly provides face to face and online professional development for PreK-12 educators and presentations on PBS resources to parents and community members. Ms. Flack helps use a blog, Innovate Classrooms, a Facebook page, Twitter, and Second Life to promote resources and trainings, and connect with other educators.
Kimberly's background includes college and high school teaching in English, Social Studies, Journalism and Special Education. She has experience in online facilitation, instructional design, and adult learning theory. Kimberly is actively involved in advocacy for early childhood through her board position on the Southwest Maricopa First Things First Council, and for technology integration through AzTEA. She served as statewide board president in 2004-2005.
