Workshop Co-Presenters: Kimberly Flack and Peggy George Kimberly Flack is the Associate General Manager for Educational Outreach at Eight, Arizona PBS (KAET-Phoenix). Since 2001, she has provided face to face and online professional development for PreK-12 educators and community members in Arizona and throughout the U.S. She is active in online professional learning communities in Second Life and teaches online early childhood courses for Rio Salado College. She has volunteered with AzTEA and served as past State Board President in 2003. Kimberly has a Master of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Science in History and Special Education. Prior to coming to Eight, Kimberly taught college English and high school journalism, history, and headed up a learning center to support all students needing assistance at Sinagua High School in Flagstaff, AZ. Peggy George, Ed.D., professional development consultant in Phoenix, Arizona, has been a professional educator for over 30 years with many roles as teacher, principal, special education director and university pre-service teacher education instructor with Arizona State University/College of Teacher Education and Leadership (CTEL). Peggy co-hosts the weekly Classroom 2.0 LIVE webinar on Elluminate which is dedicated to supporting teachers with resources and practical suggestions for incorporating Web 2.0 technologies into their teaching and learning. She is actively involved in the EdTechTalk (ETT) community through weekly webcasts, co-hosting the Women of the Web webcast, and serving as a co-editor of the weekly newsletter. She also is a member of the K12 Online Conference Live Events committee which is responsible for planning and hosting online events with presenters and participants before, during and after the conference on EdTechTalk. She is currently serving as an AzTEA Board Member (ISTE Affiliate), and is a consultant for the AZ Digital Nation project for PBS/Frontline.
