Hello and welcome,
As the President for AzTEA for 2007-2008 it is a pleasure to introduce myself.
My name is Chris Johnson and I have been involved with the use of technology in education since 1976. I spent 28 years at the University of Arizona primarily as the Director of Technology for the College of Humanities, Director of the Digital Media Resource Center in the Integrated Learning Center, and Senior Consultant for Professional Development at the Learning Technologies Center. During this time I taught courses in Educational Technology and Educational Leadership.
I retired from the University in 2005 and continue to teach educational technology courses for UA South and Educational Leadership courses on Main Campus. I also work with schools and districts on implementing 21st century skills and am currently exploring the virtual world of Second Life.
I will be using this blog to post AzTEA activities and to solicit your input on what you think the organization should be doing.
I look forward to serving you.
Chris
