NECC 2004

The 25th Annual National Educational Computing Conference

Ernest N. Morial Convention Center

New Orleans, Louisiana

June 21–23, 2004

Join the Ed Tech Jam Session!

Join us in New Orleans, June 21–23, 2004, for the National Educational Computing Conference's silver anniversary. More than 16,000 teachers, technology coordinators, library media specialists, teacher educators, administrators, policy makers, and industry representatives from all over the world will gather at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in the heart of this vibrant and historic city.

Do submit a proposal and share your learning stories at NECC 2004. We're especially interested in proposals that address strengthening higher order thinking skills and global contexts. How can technology help develop critical and creative thinkers? Do approaches to higher order thinking skills change from country to country? How so? How do teachers maximize the power of technology to guide student understanding while introducing basic skills?

August 29, 2003 - Online Proposal Submission Form available
October 8, 2003 - Deadline for proposal submission
